Newcastle Airport drop off

The site states there is a free 15 min drop off at short stay car park 2, anybody know, if you go through the barrier, can you exit out of the barrier then free of charge if within 15 min of entry, do you get a ticket when you enter???

Not sure about car park 2 but the main car park, at the front of the terminal building, has zero drop off time. £4 to go through the barrier!

How do you pay the £4, is there a ticket machine or do you pay at the barrier on the way out??

Go through the first barrier, it logs your reg, then on your way out you pay by cash or contactless

Just priced up a taxi traveling Middlesbrough to and from Newcastle airport. Used to be £120, up to £200 now!

J & P/Boro Taxis was £85 for me recently that was with a recent price rise.

Better to drop off at the bus stop on the other side of Double tree on the main road.
You can just walk through the gate and through the hotel to the airport.

Pull in the shell garage and drop off/pick up.

I generally get the train/metro there now.

You get 15 minutes free to drop off in Short Stay 2 Car Park.

You go through the barrier to Short Stay 2 Car Park and as long as you don't stay longer than 15 minutes there is no charge when you leave.
Its less than a 5 minute walk to the terminal from here.
