McNair is bang average in midfield. Leave him at the back unless we can get someone better in. Howson will spend most of season on bench hopefully. Think he is on the slide downhill.

But I'm sure a League One Sheffield Wednesday in financial trouble couldn't command too much of a fee for a 31 year old in the final year of his contract.
