The Saudis are pushing really hard for top players to move across there this summer, I think he is only one of a number who will follow the money.
Nah, he is leaving Wolves because he wants to play Champions league football, nothing to do with money

I don’t begrudge anyone taking the money, they’re professionals after all - but this is a joke.

The Saudi owners of Newcastle have just bought 4 clubs over there. His move to one of them "doesn't work out" and he's loaned to a PL club ( Newcastle) with the Saudi club picking up 100% of his wages.......
Works out at Newcastle he's transferred for, say, £50m and his wages are reduced to fit in with FFP......with the bulk of the Saudi deal being paid somewhere else out of FIFAs / UEFAs prying eyes.
It's going to happen, may not be with Neves but it's a perfect way of moving players between clubs.
FIFA need a one club / one owner model to stop this before things get out of hand.
Will make the Watford/Udinese/ Granada model look positively normal.

He left Porto to join Wolves who were in the Championship... he hasn't played in continental competition since.
Now joins joins Al-Hilal... what is the point? Surely this guy had the same sort of dreams we had as kids playing football..

Could just be a way to get around FFP & he'll end up at Newcastle this season..
PL, UEFA, FIFA need to get a grip on it.. tho suspect some envelopes changing hands to keep the moves going unhindered..
