It's funny how you can easily be demonised in this country for having the "wrong" opinion.
He’s obviously got his head screwed on and shares the view of the majority of our fans and local population but the minority of this board.
In your opinion mindDoesn't make him any less capable a manager and folk are entitled to their views however much I disagree with them.
(He's obviously completely wrong on this one though )
You would think so even seeing the hatred on this board & the old board,Good thing he's a football manager then, not a politician.
He's echoing a view sadly shared by millions in this country, especially of his generation, but it's not a crime to hold that view.
In your opinion mind
There seems to be an opinion in this country that if logic was applied its a no brainer we should have stayed in the EU, but those of lesser knowledge and intelligence and over 50 voted emotionally to leave or were ticked into voting that way by leaflets, posters and social media messages that told lies.
Although there may be some truth in this, I do not believe this as a general statement. To me there are clearly people in the UK that have relatively gone backwards economically as a result of EU membership and possibly even EEC membership. It takes many years for some policies/activities to have an effect, but the events of the 1980s,1990s. 2000s do effect us today and some effects are still to come. The transfer of economic activity from the industrial and manufacturing regions of the UK to other areas of the EU is one example. Obviously people not directly affected by this generally voted to remain and those directly affected voted leave. The hotbeds of Brexit tend to be former manufacturing regions which have not seen a large influx of service sector employment.
Most of the manufacturing and industry went to the far East, not the EU, apart from car and electronics manufacture, where we were an important way into the EU.There seems to be an opinion in this country that if logic was applied its a no brainer we should have stayed in the EU, but those of lesser knowledge and intelligence and over 50 voted emotionally to leave or were ticked into voting that way by leaflets, posters and social media messages that told lies.

He's only reflecting the majority in the UK and anyhow I know that we are all part of a "dying breed" unless someone's discovered the elixir.

OK cheers, that's fineThat alludes to the fact that most people who wanted out of Europe were in the older age bracket.
Precisely - I can never forgive her.More Thatcherism than EU membership.
Precisely - I can never forgive her.
Warnock has spent his career keeping his teams out of Europe. I'm hoping he'll break this habit with boro.
