Neil Taylor has retired

Solid player for us. Still think replacing him with Giles was a factor in us being much less solid defensively earlier in the season, although Taylor didn't offer enough in an attacking sense.

That weird, earlier today I was actually looking online to see what he is doing now. It was just one of my random moments when I thought he would of fitted into the Carrick system pretty well.

Great lad and had one hell of a ride with Wales, always stood out to me as someone who loved playing international football (and why wouldn’t you). Classy statement and nice to see a player who recognises they had relatively limited ability but still had a great career with graft.

Good luck Neil with the next step!

Never let us down, I liked him. It was a good move bringing him in. All the best in retirement (from the playing side) and good luck with whatever comes next.

Good luck Neil - one of the players who deserves what he has earned and I will remember fondly.
Thanks and Good Luck
