There's quite a lot of players who seem perfectly happy to not be playing - loads still out of contract. Imagine a few will retire in their twenties having made all the money they need. Then there others like Rudi who will play anywhere the money is good. Or ones like Steve claridge who play at the best level they can manage until their legs are falling off.

If he didn’t even reply then that speaks volumes.
 
Suppose it depends on the size of the contract, yeah he's had a ban but people might be offering him minuscule contracts and he might get offers from abroad. The gamble doesn't seem to have paid off for him so far though!
 
I missed this one yesterday. He didn’t stay long at Wednesday. Derby have signed three players. Presumably this new owner has an agreement to take on freebies.

Jesus. Derby are desperate. He was a disgrace playing for us. So off the pace it was incredible. He better have improved his fitness league wont be a cake walk.
