Everything there is 100% correct. But unfortunately for some they've already judged after one game against an opposition well up for potential FA Cup upset, playing at home with a feisty crowd behind them on a shocker of a pitch.

Time will tell I guess but coming through the Academy he was miles ahead of where the likes of Ben Gibson and Dael Fry were at the same age. The lads a talent, lets hope its here he progresses.
 
He made some obvious mistakes, but also had some good moments too. It was a difficult game to judge him on, away on a sodden pitch against a lower league team.

He needs regular football to develop, but Gibson and Fry both looked very raw when they came through, so a bit of patience is needed I think.
 
Was Wood any worse than Bamba today.
1st game he has played in months
Surely we can give the lad a bit of slack, he can’t go on loan this season So will have to make do with U21 football and occasional sub opportunities if any. We are very quick to slag player’s brought through the academy. As many have said Fry would have been given away by some. Center back is a very difficult position for young players to come into especially against lower league opposition were it tends to be a lot more physical.

Covid does not prevent Howson from passing to a team mate,unless he’s gone colourblind.

Yeah I remember Warnock saying how much he wanted to go out and test himself. Shame it never worked for him or us.

It could actually, less oxygen in your bloodstream via clogged up lungs, leads to brain fog, leads to impaired decision making and control over movements.

I don't think anyone will argue he or others had a bad game, but the preparation for this game was awful, probably as bad as has ever been for a Boro game

and Wood had the same preparation as the rest but he is being berated on here, but it’s ok for Howson and others to have an off day

It doesn't really sound like you hope that really.
He is one player in a side that has been massively disrupted that has squeezed through a cup tie in foul conditions.
Not really sure why you are having such a go?

Why wouldn’t I hope to be wrong? An academy graduate from the area who has done very well at youth levels. I just think he’s been poor in the senior appearances he’s made and I thought he might of broke into the Hibs side and the fact that never happened and he’s came back short of confidence and games and then a worrying but understandablely poor performance today still concerns me.

He needs a loan but due to his unsuccessful spell at Hibs he can’t have one so there’s another 5 or so month wasted, basically this whole season is a waste for him. Let’s see what happens next season.
