Nathan Jones

Will be interesting to see how he does.

Failed at Stoke, but then Eddie Howe failed at Burnley only to go back to his previous club and he's proved to be a top manager.

Good news for us because Luton had become a very good side under jones and they will miss him. We play them first game after the break and without jones at the helm can only benefit us 👍

Interesting one this. Has been great during both spells with Luton but flopped at Stoke. If he can have the same impact at Saints as Luton they should end up well clear of relegation but it's a risk given their current predicament. That said, if they go down I think he'd be capable of taking them back up.

I think he's a very good manager and glad to see him leave The Championship.

That Luton team has been punching above their weight massively for some time now and most of the credit should be shown to Nathan Jones.

I know he went to Stoke and didn't do a great job - but I take that as a pinch of salt. Stoke at the moment are in turmoil and a lot of good managers have gone there and failed. I think Stoke are rotten to the core. Alex Neil is one of the best managers in this division and even he is finding it a very tough job.

Not sure if Jones is the right appointment for Southampton at the moment as they need to stay up and he's never manager in the PL before, but if given time, it could be a very clever appointment as even if they go down, if given the backing & resources, he would have them challenging back for promotion, of that I have no doubt.

Utterly detest the bloke and Luton Town, one of my top hate teams (yes, yes I understand this is completely irrational.......🙂). Hope he fails miserably at Southampton.
