My man Saville

Where is Tav best utilised do you think?

I used to think in a midfield 3, but he was quality today On the right. Good thing about him is he can play a few positions, but that goes against him at times when managers and even us fans are picking our best elevens.

He has done himself no harm today though.

I can't wait for Thursday now, I wonder if Warnock will change it up or keep the same lineup

I would keep it the same I think, hopefully all the out of contract lads are still here, he never committed to that in his post match interview

Yeah I saw that, also heard that he could of throttled roberts at times 😂 he's class

I'd assume the only question mark is Johnson? Did anyone catch anything about Coulson being fit for the next match?

Friend really put a shift in today. He was back to his wholehearted best and Epitomised the renewed sense of spirit and commitment today that we haven’t seen for ages. Yes he isn’t the force he once was but credit were it is due - we needed the blokes with experience to step up today and Friend definitely did that for me

Friend is great when he is left to the basics as he is good defender. And the one thing Warnock does is find roles that players can fill he doesn’t expect players to do what they can’t.

I have always liked Savilles style. He comes across as an intelligent player. I like McNair and Tav too and I think there is a very good trio there to be utilised. I would like Warnock to stay for next season but at 71 he's entitled to his retirement.
On todays performance, what does everybody think has changed from Woodgate. I don't mean actual playing, systems, skills etc. I am thinking more about whether Warnock has made the players believe in themselves and instilled confidence in their own abilities. Did this come through today. And how did Assombalonga play? I didn't see the game so am relying on radio commentary and you people on here.

Britt was awesome today all that was missing was a goal, led the line very well

Its really not rocket science is it. Asking a combative hard working midfielder to be a combative hard working midfielder.

He never had a chance when we were asking him to be the next xavi busqettes or whoever.

What a difference having a proper manager in place.
