My ignore list...

I once mixed up chutney and pickle . . . It really made me chuckle. (if that terrible pun doesn't get me ignored I don't know what will)

Haven't bothered using the ignore function on here but there's a couple of members where I'll scroll straight past their contributions.
 
Didn't even know the function existed, so my list is zero.

I respect people's opinions 99% of the time, we're all different.

Suppose I'm lucky where I'm wired where the majority of the time I can look at a "controversial" poster and think "Worra d*ckhead" and move on. It's not real life, and most of these keyboard warriors wouldn't say the same sh*t to your face so ........🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Agree with Neros post earlier where if things get too sh*tty or my mental health isn't good I'll just back away from the board, lurk a bit see what's going on without looking in depth. Had to do this for October where there were a few too many snidey posts and pile ons.
 
I don't have anyone on ignore. I'm the sort of person that if I did ignore them I'd want to know what they were saying anyway, like I can't help reading a spoiler tag even when I'm trying to avoid spoilers. The only person I can ever remember wanting to ignore was that Epiphany guy on the old board that talked nonsense about farting and didn't ever contribute to an actual discussion. That sort of non-contributory character can be ignored I suppose would I wouldn't ignore people just because they had different views to me.

There are people that I don't like the way they talk about certain topics but then I see them contributing reasonably to other ones so I wouldn't ignore them. I try and just avoid those topics but it's easy to get suckered in sometimes. Suppose it's like when you have different opinions to a friend or family member. I wouldn't cut them off because I didn't like something about them, I'd just stay away from that conversation with them.
 
The only person I have on ignore is absolutely deserving of being on ignore and contributes nothing to the board. He’s definetly not missed 😂

to the opinion that you asked them for

Which always struck me odd, as it is generally the only purpose of a message board

You can click a link to open up ignored content and you can see replies to people you've ignored so you can still follow the conversation and engage if you want/need to.

I've got four regular posters on my list. Mainly to remind me not to just dive in with two feet when they post something I disagree with. It gives a bit of breathing space to make better decisions. All of them have engaged in some form of trolling which is why I put them there.
 
Four on permanent ignore and probably about a dozen I can't be chuffed engaging with.
I know I'm on at least a couple of ignore lists but remarkably they still selectively quote some of my political posts. No other posts, just political ones. It's like they just can't help themselves 🤷‍♂️
