My Boro - can’t load ticket to digital wallet

Just bought a ticket for Ipswich

Any ideas how you load it onto the digital wallet when the “add to mobile wallet” link is greyed out ?

I got one of the Digital membership cos I thought it would be easier 😬

I’ve emailed them but wondered if anyone knew.

Oh how I yearn for the days of queueing outside the stadium ticket office…..was so much easier…..

Ha ha I think you and roofie would struggle queuing up at the ticket office when you both live so far away. It would mean a long drive and a day off work etc.
I haven't bought a digital ticket myself yet so cannot answer but I would give the ticket office a ring for help. When you have done it once you should be fine for next time.
 
Just logged into my account on my work laptop (don’t tell my boss) and it’s greyed out on there as well
 
AET - I think all iPhones of the last few years have NFC and if you have done it before on the same phone its not NFC missing issue.

You shouldn’t be able to download it on a laptop anyway. Are you using the standard safari browser on the iPhone or something else?

From what I know about working with 3rd party software I would say it’s a problem with the ticket software not my phone etc
 
Yes. It seems either the site isn’t detecting a compatible phone (possible browser issue) or it’s an issue with the site or ticket itself. I’d try logging out and closing the browser, then delete cache and cookies on the phone and reboot it.
 
The other possibility is that the digital ticket file isn’t yet linked to your account with the match being over 2 weeks away. Can anyone confirm if this is common and when the ticket should appear or is it usually immediate even if the game is weeks away?

No luck at all

Have deleted the expired pass for the Leicester game but still
Can’t load the Ipswich tkt

Will wait to hear from the club.

It’s a very poor, clunky, unintuitive piece of software they have chosen to use. And no doubt rolled out without testing properly.

UPDATE:

I got it to work by downloading the my Boro membership card again in the membership screen not the ticket screen.

What a bloody silly way of doing it though.

When I bought my membership I went for the physical option (oh err!) and I'm looking forward to the card arriving so it can take pride of place in my wallet.

And yes, I realise that makes me a right Saddo 🙂

To be honest I wish id gone for the card option now.

Seems to me they are rolling this stuff out without proper testing and proper instructions - to the best of my knowledge I followed the instructions on the screen when buying the ticket and there was nothing in the conformation emails telling me what I needed to do. It should be seamless and appear in the apple wallet right away.

When someone from the ticket office eventually replies to my email I’ll mention it.

No it doesn't! I've kept my physical card.

Sorry, I'm late to this conversation.

I'm no IT expert but it looks like a big manky spider or something has attached itself to your ticket. It could be causing the problem.
