Malcolm Smith started his 1st competative 1st game, he'd made a subs appearence on the final game of the previous season

John Hickton wasnt available for the game so Stockton lad Malcolm Smith was handed the No9 shirt & a boys dream debut bagging a brace, as the mighty Boro came from behind to win 2-1 in front of a crowd of, 24,145

Also my 1st full season as a Boro fan IMG_20211101_132136.jpg

I guessed that would be yours Erimus :)
Mine was the 3-1 FA Cup win at Ayresome in Jan 1975. This one of the 8 times we have knocked them out of a Cup in the 9 clashes over my 60 years.

Borofurs 1st Derby game, Joe Bolton got sent off near the end, trouble all over, including the Yellow rose before the match
