Did he really. Think the club wanted him probably due to his Connie with Leo. Don't think Warnock was too bothered. Never heard him whinge when we didn't sign him.
Have the same feeling with Wilder and Payero. He never fancied him.

Warnock didn't know him from Adam. "Neil Bauser is in South America looking at a couple of strikers. He's doing his best to get us someone".

I know you like Warnock Erimus, but there is no need to rewrite history for him.

Methinks Muniz and Akpom will have the makings of an excellent pairing come Chuba’s return at the end of the month.
 
Could have signed him on a permanent last summer for the price of a Payero, a Forss and a Hoppe (y)

Let’s not mess about and get this deal done before January. He’s quality, a great guy and is obviously loving it here already. Spend the money.

Hate to bang on about recruitment again but we’re in a position with the squad and the yearly reliance on finding so many loans, which are so hit & miss depending on the player’s attitude, that one good player is a way better investment than three possibly good ones for us.

I’d say the same about Giles. Possibly out of our bracket but would anyone be unhappy if we spent all the Tav & Spence money (£25m?) on permanent deals for Giles & Muniz, then didn’t have to worry about a left wing back and striker for the next four years?

Amused me when he was winding their keeper up telling where to pass the ball, he was also winding the linesman up at one point. Hope he keeps that enjoyment in his game.

Love his attitude . He's a little b***r at times . Proper bite yer legs lad . He has really good defensive qualities as well as his pace and crossing skills . He has a rare ability to concentrate both attack and defensively. Huge engine . Not surprised he was knackered at end of last season . Protect his energy levels this season and we will benefit
 
Muniz Roberts and Jones are the only 3 good players we have in the squad.
The rest are just Championship average.
It's why we won't make the play offs this season and will probably end up bottom half despite have a better than average manager.

Rubbish. Giles is fantastic. Crooks is a massive goal threat and does better in the build up than he gets credit for. Fry and Lenihan are both very good CBs. Dijksteel and Bola are both decent and maybe a little unlucky that we don't play a system that allows them to play their best positions. We've got a lot of good players. Admittedly they could do with the club helping them out and filling the gaps in the squad.
 
Very good performance. Plays with a smile yet also a chewy little ****. Love it. Our no9 and main striker who has to start every game he's fit.

Don't know who the hell wolves have left wing back but if its not prime Roberto Carlos what the frigg are they doing loaning out Giles!
