Munchies & Mintolas

Remember when these were the illicit 'top shelf' of the confectionary display?
No way on earth could I ever scrub up enough change to purchase one of these premier sweets.

Just eating a Munchie now from a family bag and in all honesty not sure what all the fuss was about?

I'm sure Munchies were about 50p when a Mars Bar was about 15p.

I like Munchies, but you're right - they were weirdly more expensive than other chocs/sweets for no apparent reason.

Munchies were always The Tories of the confectionery market, I’d say 2oz of Poor Bens represented The Labour Party. With Polos being Lib Dem as they were a bit meh!!!

They were always the chocolates of kings on the ice cream van, way more expensive than the others, called after 8s now
