Mowbray - You're a WEASEL

Utter rubbish Rob.
That captain - as I posted a little earlier - WAS all about respect.
That Manager yesterday was all about contempt and dis-respect.
If you are uncomfortable with this thread then you need to give your head a shake.
exactly, no one is beyond reproach, nobody is beyond question. I loved him as a player and captain, I was behind him but could see it wasn't going to work as a manager, as an opponent he is usually moderately professional, but not this time. He made a mistake, it a shame but 'it is what it is'.

If Fry had done that to Branthwaite, Warnock would give the same interview, actually any manager would.
it's a hypothetical but I have seen him have a dig at some of our players when he isn't happy with them. He had a go at Coulson and Friend for stupid tackles that gave penalties away and he had a go at Britt just the other day.

I'm sure Warnock was genuinely annoyed by the incident but he does have previous for verbally bashing officials after a defeat.

Its the classic deflection tactic that the majority of managers use, and fans fall for it.
They also use the "I didn't see it excuse" as well. Warnock has used it himset in the past. Wenger never seen an incident throughout his Arsenal career.

Nah, most of us agree that we were sh!te.
we were slightly less ***** than them until the goal, and then when we went chasing it we were all at sea because two of our best defenders were not on the pitch. The style we play means that the game isn't pretty, regardless who we play, we drag other teams into a battle of will, and determination. It's not always pretty, and it's easy to just claim we were crap, when actually we did our job of spoiling the opposition. That's what happened int e first 60.

How do you know he didn't. Just because he didn't do it in a one minute interview taking questions from a reporter. I don't know whether he did or didn't.
Too much guess work on this thread.
I know he didn't in the Sky interview.
I know he didn't in any post-match interviews for the written press.
I know he didn't for his club's website.

What I do know is that in all circumstances above he managed to claim that he hadn't seen the incident, that he had a dig at Warnock about the incident and that he defended his own player's actions with regard to the incident.

You and others say there's too much guesswork on this thread.

I and others say that you cannot defend the indefensible and with the status of former captain, idol and hero comes a certain responsibility.

He has had plenty of time to see the incident in all its horrific 'glory', and still hasn't made a public statement to the contrary. I think we can safely say he isn't bothered by his players dangerous behaviour.

I thought that Mogga let himself down in the post match interview. He could definitely have done much better, and been less sarcastic.

However, I also wonder whether lochdown/Coronavirus tensions also help to make us all feel a bit more edgy about things like this at the moment? Myself included. I'm not suggesting it's all about that, but it probably doesn't help.
