Most famous person you've met....

Jack Charlton twice, Bobby Charlton, Juninho, Pele and I used to know Pam Royle (sweet left foot)

Emlyn Hughes, Terry McDermot, Suzi Mitzi, and Kelvin off Eastenders too, now I think of it.

I went to school with, and played club cricket with Ben Stokes - obviously wasnt famous at the time.

Also played county cricket (junior level) with Liam Livingstone.

Which one ? The really famous one or the American gadgy who did things with computers ?
That is him. I worked in the IT industry at the time. Got an upgrade to first class and was sat next to him. I looked over and thought I recognised him. I could not put a name to the face. Then the air stewardess said good morning Mr Gates. Would you like a glass of champagne.

On another theme my brother was a roadie for Chris Rea and his band. The van carrying Chris Rea and his equipment used to call at our house to pick up my brother from time to time before Chris was well known.

Paul Weller on numerous occasions backstage after The Jam gigs.
Bernadette Nolan , The Unicorn Pub , Norton
Elvis Costello and Kid Jensen, Radio 1 studios ,
I got to the final of Pop Quiz in 1979 , Elvis was presenting the prizes , top bloke , thankfully I didn't bump into Jimmy Saville.

She was a right babe I tell you!!!!
A mate of mine was obsessed with her when we were teenagers. He's really overweight these days. I'm not saying that those two things are definitely related, but it could well be true that spending all of those years playing the pink oboe whilst watching Dempsey and Makepeace were a contributory factor to him getting so fat. A cautionary tale for all of us, I think.
