Will he potentially be retrospectively banned? Never seems to happen to players against us, but I can definitely see it happening here.
 
I think it's possible. Apparently the decision came from the linesman. It will be a blow if he is if Paddy is crocked. Although we have Sav and Tavs back.

It's laughable that both of them are frankly hand bags compered to Fry getting his head kicked off. How Branthwaite didn't get retrospectively banned I'll never know.
 
I wouldn't have thought so.
The ref saw the incident and took the action he thought appropriate.

I can see why their lad was miffed, having said that retaliation will always go against you. I like Morsy. I agree he is vital to our success but he’s a nasty little sod 😀

Morsy hoys his arm about without really looking to stop Browne getting past and Browne loses the plot entirely, deservedly red, football has always taken a dim view of retaliation. I noticed earlier on in the half Browne was spoken to by the ref at a corner after getting 'involved' with Fisher, he looked a bit 'revved up' then. Fisher seemed subject to some tasty challenges in the 1st half I do wonder if he was being targetted to unsettle him.
I don't feel remotely we've 'got away with one'. In the past we've had Morsy and McNair sent off unjustly (very fortunately neither affected the final result) and don't get me started on the Blackburn or Swansea games, absolutely disgraceful.
As for Alex Neil's snidey comment ....... "I've never lost to a Neil Warnock team" ............. you have now, get over it.
Not sure why but I seem to be collecting a few 'irrational' hatred clubs this season, Swansea and Blackburn are on the list and now I've added Preston.

He's been absolutely superb this season. To think he cost 1mil

We bought him knowing what he is like. He is apparently exactly the same in training (we regularly here NW saying Sam kicks everything in training). I think he got over 10 yellows last season at Wigan and he was player of the season. They 'appreciated it'

I genuinely believe you need someone like him. He's an absolute whopper if he plays against you😂. He was absolutely class at Swansea.

He's only been sent off once. That was recinded and a shocking decision. It's not like he's Vinny Jones.
