Monday night football is a punishment

What a rubbish day of the week to have a game of football.

It is almost like a punishment.

Wasnt that when Man City played at home to QPR ... how do I know this random fact (didnt even google it), everyone remembers Forest v Liverpool the first Sunday game televised by SKY

I don't mind a Monday night game
To watch Boro or as a neutral?

Personally I don't like Monday for football either. I watch football all weekend. I'm happy to have a rest from it and watch something with the wife on a Monday night. Dislike it even more if it's Boro. Hate not having a match on the weekend when everyone else is playing.

Any football, same goes for Friday night games, both could do with kicking off earlier though.

Boro used to kick off at 7.15:when I first watched, even better in Norway where they kicked off at 6.30.

It leaves more time on a weekend to do other things with the family.

Yeah I always think 7pm would be better for mid week games. More family friendly and most people can still make 7pm after work. I think away fans would prefer it as well. It means getting away from work earlier but get home at a better time.

They have games in Spain that start at 9.30pm local time. That's a late finish.
