It is only a job so of course there is no problem with him taking it, despite him being a Boro legend and despite it being at one of our biggest rivals.
There is also no problem with not wanting Sunderland to do well while still recognising him as a Boro legend and a decent person.
He doesn't deserve personal abuse but also doesn't deserve our unquestioned loyalty whilst managing a rival. I never wanted Blackburn to do well so why should I want Sunderland to?
