Absolutely loved Minder and still watch it now on ITV4. Some great characters but my absolute favourite was Sgt Chisholm.
I'm sad to say I still have a copy of what"ll I get this Christmas for er indoors
Did a West End show with "Sgt Chisholm" in the early 90's. We were all warned not to mention The Singing Detective in his earshot. Show died on its ar5e and got its notice 3 days after it opened, but cast were still contracted for interviews and not allowed to mention it's closing. Day after notice went up, he had a booking on Pebble Mill that he really didn't want to do. Came onto applause, sat down and got first question which was about his ar5e going up and down in "that scene" from the Singing Detective! IIRC he did the rest of the interview with his teeth firmly clenched!
