Millwall are awful..

But you can only beat what's in front of you.

Akpom suits us far more than Assombalonga. It's just a shame he doesn't know where the goal is either.

You can see how much we've missed Dijksteel as well.

Shame they changed it as I fancied us for for 6 or more before that and that would've been a right boost.

I don’t agree as I always think a 3 nil win is better psychologically than a 6 nil rout as it loses any meaning after 5 goals

They have been poor but we are playing well too. It’s a combination of the 2. Preston probably thought we were the worst team they had played this season on Wednesday, the championship is a mad league.

If we were a team that scored goals I'd agree but scoring 6 across the team would give for more confidence to a number of players.

Before today Millwall had a good away record. Won 3, Drew 3, Lost 2. They had only scored 7 but only conceded 5 in those 8 games. All in all, it was a great win today.

the tall CH , forget his name , looked like a mistake every time he got the ball..... some defending in the champo this year is woefull... made Phil Whelan look like Willie Maddren

Missed the 1st half, but they almost gifted us another couple in the 2nd half
Shame Watmore couldn't get a hattrick for a couple of doubles on the bounce at home is good for starters

What I like most about Watmore is his attitude and non stop energy... That in itself will bring him opportunities. I just hope he can stay fit. He will be twice the player Britt is.

I'd quite like to see Fletcher back and playing with him as well.

Millwall's performance typifies the difference between the challengers and the also rans. The mid table sides haven't got the consistency and are prone to these performances whilst retaining the ability to turn in good short term runs.

the Millwall results and performances since the boo-ing off their own fans, has turned to dissolution.
I would be on the blower to my agent after that tbh especially if I was Jed Wallace.. straight off to the Boro me like.

MIllwall were awful in the first 25 minutes.
However, I think we often put ourselves down by slating the opposition.

After we beat both Barnsley and COventry, there were posts on here saying they were both certainties for relegation. Neither is true; Cov are a healthy 8 points above the relegation zone, and Barnsley are pushing for the top half.

So, Millwall were awful for 25 minutes, but they are not an awful side. They are an average championship side, as are Barnsley. Coventry may yet struggle, but they're by no means relegation basket cases.

So let's give ourselves a little more credit when we beat these sides.
