Military movie recommendation

Evening all..

Can anyone recommend any good movies based on/featuring the military?

Thinking more modern/recent stuff rather than stories of WW1 and 2.

Hurt Locker. Zero Dark Thirty. That sort of thing. SAS/Special Forces stories, etc.
 
Tigerland, about a bunch of recruits having their last days of training before going to the Vietnam war. Thought it was great when it came out, admittedly that was 20 years ago now.

The first half of Deer Hunter is perceived as slow, but it takes time to build the characters. The second half is just great cinema.
By that's just my opinion.😀
Zulu doesn't fit the criteria but must be mentioned when military films are discussed. It's just too good to ignore.
 
Thanks all, some good looking movies there. Seen some but never heard of the others.

Might do one tonight and one tomorrow night (good war film to wind down after the game! 🫣)
