Middlesbrough's "Historic Quarter"

Many thanks for that - sorry, I wasn't being rude!
No don't worry at all. It was something I put together based on https://www.mytownmyfuture.co.uk/ but one of the things I'm trying to do with the Historic England project is make sure the community shape it as otherwise itll just be a pointless website and we want people to contribute to it, lead activities, get involved with events etc.

its the same old story - "the price of everything and the value of nothing". - we wont ever see buildings of that quality again.
We are going to be adding some more material to the site and education stuff too so future generations take an active in the area's heritage as well. Most of the buildings featured are still standing and many in use and the project is working to bring some back in to use and enhance others. Hopefully it will have some wider benefits for the area.

That's great!! I love the Picture_Stockton site that purely relies on people posting pictures people and places.

Good luck with the site!
