Middlesbrough v Luton Town - Matchday Thread

Defeat to Barnsley opens it right up. These 3 games were our chance to put it to bed and pretty much guarantee survival.

All we've done here is give Luton the freedom of the park because this idiot thought it'd be a good idea to chuck 4 up top which means the only thing we can do is lump the ball forward. Why not take Nmecha off who has been awful and put Morrison on to try and create something?

im dreading barnsley now we have no fire in our bellies just throwing striker after striker on is just unbalancing the team,

We made them look like bloody Barcelona, slow no out ball ,they won 95% of the second ball, his set up was all wrong, Morrison should have started along with Tav, times ahead look nae to good.........but hopefully somehow we will pick up enough points to survive, but I won't be putting any pennies on it.....

We're in serious danger of slipping right back into trouble here.

We've played 29 games either side of that great 4 wins on the bounce streak. In those 29 games we've only won 4 times. That's a better indication of our form, 25 points from a possible 87 or less than a point a game.

We need a blip like we had at Christmas.

Why not put Tav and Morrison on? 4 striker's and no midfield doesn't make any sense?
Doesn't Woodgate understand tactics?

Can honestly say that was our worst performance of the season.
Disgusting.

We were indeed rubbish, but I think it was one of those days where the team collectively didn't turn up. Maybe they thought that Luton would roll over, who knows, but we were bad.

However, every season had to have a worst performance. We've been miles better than that in recent games. I'm certainly looking for a positive response in the next match.
