Undeniably, both had a big impact, but I do think the scoreline had a say on that.
If it was 0-0, it would have been a different game.

Roberts and Watmore were vital in us taking the lead.
 
I enjoyed that, am I the only one who thinks that the commentary was a bit negative tonight ? I thought we were doing well but Maddo seemed to be complaining most of the game. He sounded like he would fit right in with some of the people on here.
 
Absoutly buzzing, watched via Rams TV & their Co commentator was singing our defenders praises & praising our work ethic
Great result & a fantastic answer to our unfortunate defeat on Saturday

He's right - the way we fight for every ball in midfield typified by Saville tonight is what makes life easier for the defence.
 
Derby message boards are hilarious reading - can’t even sell their ground again to sort things out. Steve Gibson will have a second glass of Red tonight and a little smile to himself
 
Excellent result. Howson, McNair, Dijksteel, Sav all brilliant, but well happy with the lot of them tonight. A bit of humble pie for supper for me, as I had a bit of a dig at Spence and Johnson in a post earlier on here! Both done really well after coming on.

How bad are Derby though? Not taking anything from our performance, but they look utterly terrible. Going to be a long old season for them. Rooney looked like a pub player tonight. May have been a bad performance, but if that's the sort of performances he's regularly putting in, he'd be best off jacking it in. Was a bit embarrassed for him at times tonight.

What do they say about Rooney. We moan about the wages some of our players get, but he's on another level.

Isn't it strange both Derby & Sheff Weds were under investigation last season regarding cheating, Derby off scot free & Sheff Weds penalised, now Derby replace Sheff Weds at the bottom of the league
