Starting on Thursday...go see as much of it as you can!

"...the largest annual contemporary arts festival in the North East, an event that champions Middlesbrough’s heritage, industrial past and creative scene, transforming the town centre into a creative hub. Middlesbrough is the creative gem of the North East, and MAW shouts about this with a town takeover every year."

Looks great - so good that it has developed to the point it is now a week rather than a weekend. So much interesting stuff and a big timely boost for the town.

I've had a sneak preview of Saeborg (the pig) - its fantastic! Genuinely, Boro is seen as a bit of a Jewel in the Crown of NE contemporary arts, which can only be good news for the town.

It'll be a busy weekend, with the Pip market on along with Boro Pride- which has a full day of events in the town hall, the Pip market and the Uni, that and the art week also starting tomorrow and running into the weekend and the weather looking generally ok, there will be plenty to do and see for everyone at any age.
