My spam filter seems to be working again now. All spam going to junk folder and not inbox.

Yeah it's gash. Has been for 6 months or so.
Makes you wonder about the security in the rest of their systems.

Anyone know of a decent secure alternative?

Never had an issue with my Gmail, but I only use that for important stuff.

Actually, I've just noticed they've added the block sender option to the Hotmail app, that wasn't there before. Had to use the Web version previously.

Thanks for posting this, as I'd been wondering what I might have recently signed up to which has leaked my email address.

Make sure you have two-factor authentication turned on so even if your password is found, guessed or leaked in a data breach you will still be secure. If possible use an authentication app to receive your codes instead of SMS sent to phone.
