Yeah thanks for the info. When Woody was manager Smith and Rotherham were playing in league 1 and we never played against him. Apart from that you are absolutely spot on.

I think he's decent enough for a role and 'style' we need him for. I'd say 10 goals and 3 assists is alright.

I've read nothing but positive stuff from Rotherham fans. They say we are basically 'having a laugh' at 1mil (despite being 30 in the summer and final year). They said he had simply run out of stream in the final 5 games after carrying the side.

I don't think any Boro fans said that about any of our forwards. I don't think you can overly go wrong at one to 1.2mil.

He's better than the other Smith linked (please no). Also cheaper than the lad from Bristol who I still can't spell. I imagine he's busting to join us as he will probably double his money and stays in the champo.
