He is the one we should go for imo, if not Reiziger. Dejan Stankovic would be amazing but probably too ambitious.
He’s been working at Man U same as mclaren was. Why? What makes you think any of these should be the Boro manager? What do you know about them and their coaching and management credentials?
Giggs was working at Manchester United, would you want him at the Boro? How do you know what sort of football Carrick would have us playing? He’s been working at Man U same as mclaren was.
We need new ideas new thinking
Positive football.
Viv do you now realise that people weren’t scaremongering and that there was a big problem at the clubGiggs was working at Manchester United, would you want him at the Boro? How do you know what sort of football Carrick would have us playing?
McClaren was working with one of the best managers ever. Carrick has been working with SolskjaerHe’s been working at Man U same as mclaren was.

Not for certain, no. It could’ve been the sh*t results and the sh*t football we’d started playing. Anything else is speculation TBH.Viv do you now realise that people weren’t scaremongering and that there was a big problem at the club
Surely that cold tweet confirms that all wasn’t good.
What has Giggs got to do with Carrick? No one knows what football any manager will play until they get here. Im sure you rubbished the thought of Robson, McClaren and Karanka too. Why do you always have to be Sarky when you dont agree with someones else opinion. Its nauseating.Giggs was working at Manchester United, would you want him at the Boro? It’s not being sarky. It’s asking why people want particular managers, especially when those people haven’t coached or managed at first team level before. It’s interesting to see what and why people think about these candidates. What has Giggs got to do with Carrick? No one knows what football any manager will play until they get here. It’s interesting we’ve done it now, but the results dictate don’t they? I can only think of Monk who was sacked for anything other than poor results. Not with words like that
Come on viv you’re no fool
It’s more likely his refusal to not use Forss and Hoppe. It does feel now like they were keeping their powder dry for the next bloke in terms of spending that Tav and Spence cash. This is pure speculation from me but I think his reluctance to use the academy was a big part of it.
Just my view but Gibson has based our model around this and to see it overlooked I found odd.
I agreeIt’s more likely his refusal to not use Forss and Hoppe. It does feel now like they were keeping their powder dry for the next bloke in terms of spending that Tav and Spence cash.
I think one thing that irked is that we signed someone like Luongo when we really have no intention of using him. He’s there to pad out the bench. But then you’d have to ask why the club sanctioned the deal if that’s all it was for. Another few thousand quid down the sh*tter, let’s be honest.I agree
The line up inc the bench on wed should be interesting now.
It’s been crazy for for some time mate as is referring to a player the same age as the one who is starting in his space as a kid that needs to developI think one thing that irked is that we signed someone like Luongo when we really have no intention of using him. If that was the case then loaning all the players we did was a complete waste of time. We might as well have got rid of Wilder in the summer if he wasn’t on board with the way the club is working. It’s more likely his refusal to not use Forss and Hoppe.
