Michael Carrick responds to Oliver Norwood's criticism of Middlesbrough [Gazette]

Would love west bro. to shock them midweek and beat them and then warnocks huddersfield to get something. That would make it an interesting last day if either us or luton win the next two.

It's weird I never did mind Sheffield united until February and then we rattled them and their true colours came out.
End of the day they've somewhat spluttered over the line and it's embarrassing because we gave them a 17 game headstart.
They'll get to the Prem and get battered with that idiot in charge.

If we do make, ill look forward to 6 points.

They definitely had a major wobble, but they recovered from it, even if they've not been winning games convincingly, they've still been winning them.

They've actually won 1 more point than us since we beat them.

Norwood main aim on a football pitch is to hurt the opposition players. Limited skill and will have no impact in the Premier league other than inflicting injuries.

It's funny, when we closed the gap i think they spoke about us pipping them to promotion more than we did.

They have done well since, fair play to them.

As a club i do not like them, a number of players annoy me and their fans have this we are a big club and better than you mentality.

Sheff Utd will come straight back down with their style of play. The manager will be lucky to make it to Christmas.

Norwood is a little tosser, sarcastic and smarmy.. same bracket as that ****** Conor Hourihane. Can’t stand him either. Both need a slap.

Heckingbottom is a limited manager who'll quickly get sussed out (and sacked) in the premier League. You can just about get away with an attritional grinding approach in the championship if you have quality players.

They're hardly steamrolling teams as it is. Those 1-0s will quickly turn into 0-0s and 1-0 defeats against better sides.

I suspect on some level they know they're lucky Wilder wasted our start to the season and they're not really the second best team in the championship. A lot of bitterness on display for a team who are pretty much promoted, almost as if they know deep down they got a bit lucky. It's as if we spoiled the achievement for them in some way.

Carrick just oozing class as per.
I'd expect a take over to cost him his job before he his the prem

Why do other teams live rent free in f as one of the Utd players heads? Wrexham got the same comments during the FA cup run…

May be if they’d just got on with their own games and performances they might already be promoted along with Burnley…

Bless them…
