It's just his responses to questions in last Thursday's press conference, they've just decided to wait nearly a week to make an article from it.

IIRC it was a question about keeping grounded about the prospect of promotion, and whether Gibson was in the same "one day at a time" mindset as Carrick.

yeah it is a good example how journalists take quotes out of context from longer interviews to spin a story for themselves obviously no harm done here but you can see how it can cause havoc quoting people out of context if they have the agenda

I hope Gibson is as excited as the rest of us at the very least and am sure he is.
Being able to stop loaning more money to cover annual losses will be a factor that the rest of us fans don’t have to worry about.
He will be as excited as anyone but will also realise that even with a fabulous young manager like he has, there will be odd bumps in the road to the PL.
