* MFC Official: Michael Carrick Pre-Match v Bradford City [V-04:31] Link *

I am a bit annoyed by this tbh. I hope this is not another step down the media controlled Boro narrative and is a one off.

There was a press conference yesterday as highlighted by the podcast from You Are My Boro from the Gazette and Echo’s Wilson and Shaw, yet the club have failed to show it on the website for the supporters.

The last press conference showed the journalists asking some of the questions fans were asking and Carrick sounded calm but his body language was displaying some nervousness for me. Their is obvious pressure but its early days.

We used to get the post match pressers which were informative but then they were stopped being shown on the website to the fans. All of a sudden things not going too well on the pitch and the pre match Bradford presser is suddenly stopped from being shown and they show a short Boro controlled sanitised version of questioning for the fans. I hope it is a one off and the fans are not being deliberately kept away from the glare of the journo’s. ( I know the press report in their various quarters, but the spread will mean less fans may see the detail). It smacks of being introverted and sticking 2 fingers up to fans again to me if this carries on.

@Rob, can you find out why the Monday presser wasn’t recorded and displayed on the website and we just get a short sanitised 3 minute club controlled set of questioning please. It is a serious mistake if it is a club decision to carry on this way in future. I hope the club are not taking us for fools and thinking we will just accept scraps of them.

I am one very p’eed of customer, supporter and worried the club are being even more controlling than ever of the messages.

There are certainly questions asked which arent included in the final cut of Boro Media Conferences.
