* MFC Official: Michael Carrick Media Conference v Blackpool [V-16:20]

There were actually only three of us today - I wasn't expecting to ask more than my two questions - but some really interesting answers I thought. Hayden Hackney is in a great place isn't he, with Carrick as a manager and Jonny Howson alongside him. What better environment to learn in?

BBC and Tyne Tees have shared a reporter and pics for much of this season. BBC were here today so Tyne Tees will be there on Thursday. The nature of media these days is that there are very limited resources. There are few reporters and fewer still cameras. It was a day off for the reporter from the Northern Echo. So, again there would be no one else available.

I hope people reflect on this regarding BBC Radio Tees I honestly cannot recall the last time TFM attended a Boro press conference. As for other regional radios they send you questions and ask you to record your own interviews and then whatsapp them to them.

BBC Tees + Dana + The Boro Breakdown Podcast + Southside are all we need ;)
 
I do miss changing times aka AV prezzer write ups. I would have been very interested to read his writeups of the last few wilder press conferences.

I`ve got the thank-you-and-cheerio piece he wrote in the Gazette.
Genuine supporter an writer, who got banned for saying the truth. Ostracised for not keeping his head down and for speaking up for us fans. Cracking bloke - still doing his bit an even signing copies of his books in the club shop at times!!!
