Steve Gibson, Kieran Scott, Michael Carrick, Hayden Hackney, and Tommy Smith were among the faces taking part in Q&As with Boro fans this week.

The chairman and senior members of staff met representatives of Middlesbrough Supporters Forum on Monday while Kieran took part in the Twe12th Man podcast to reflect on the transfer window and provide an update from Rockliffe.

The Riverside was the venue for Boro Supporters Club 2020's monthly meeting when Tommy made an appearance to discuss his injury, his playing career, and his time so far at the Boro.

For Hayden, it was a return to his roots when he visited Sacred Heart School in Redcar - a visit organised by club partner Host & Stay - where he took questions from some of his former teachers and current pupils.

And Wednesday evening saw the biggest event of the week when around 130 members and friends of Red Faction packed into the Legends Lounge to hear from the chairman, head coach, and head of football.

The trio took part in a Q&A and Michael was also the surprise recipient of a cheque presentation for the Michael Carrick Foundation. A further cheque is also winging its way to Matt Crooks for the Jordan Sinnott Foundation.

Boro Head Coach Michael Carrick said: "There were some great questions, it was an enjoyable night, and it was good to be able to thank a lot of people personally for the support you continually give us.

"I'd also like to say a big thank-you on behalf of the Foundation for such a kind gesture.

"There were other events through the week where players and staff met different groups of supporters, and all the feedback has been so positive.

"It’s such an important part of the fabric of this club is the connection between us all."

130 of rf08 + is a good turn out.
Lets hope its more next time and people will be ready to dig out some more change for the charity collections.

Well done lads.

Talking to fans at other clubs not too many get a chance to speak with players, managers and club officials.

You also have clubs like Ipswich who stream these events on YouTube so the rest of the fan base who don't attend these meeting can tune in and see what's said. Why don't we do this as none of the information from this meeting has been shared
