Message To All !!!!

Sorry I've no idea what is going on with this message board now. A situation has grown from some harmless made up transfer gossip to accusations of cloning, bullying, stalking and god knows what else.
It's hard to work out which threads are worth opening any more. They all seem to turn nasty, surreal, nonsensical - or all three.
It's almost a wannabee COB board with all in jokes and insults, all carrying over from one thread to another. All it needs are the Sid James and Steve McClaren gifs.

Hopefully things will calm down when the season starts.
 
I think those who have a genuine issue with Boro_Legend now need to just put him on ignore, rather then replying to him and criticising or insulting him.

Some of those who have in the past are posters who I respect and have a lot of time for, and I do understand why they get irritated by him at times but I actually have a soft spot for him and value his contribution to the board.

A line needs to be drawn in the sand now.

Yup, "Boro Legend" and the "nobby" character are one and the same. I think they are the "Monsterofbeer" but he has been a bit more patient with his borderline personality. The tedious BL character tries too hard not to appear English. Some basic discourse analysis is all you need.
 
I'd far read a transfer update from BL, Nobby etc, even if made up, than countless posts on politics which, at times, then turn into a name calling thread

I certainly don't have an issue with BL, there's no malice in him or his posts & nothing to be offended with, which has been mentioned on here

I put up for 2 weeks of nasty PM sent to me on here which could lead to police matter, but I have remained calm for now I still got screen shot of them, if the people think its funny, what there are doing to me.. Rob has said many times about meeting me and me only having one account. People need to start listening to that good advice, or it will cause them trouble sorry to say.

Can we please put a stop to the matters for once and for all.

I don't use twitter but read about how toxic it is, could say the same about other forums, I don't mean to imply any other Boro related, just forums in general, but we can police this board ourselves, just try & be civil to one another

The chances are the majority of posters will never meet anyone from here but just think if you did after giving that poster some abuse, be pretty embarrassing

You're never going to let the 'silly sausage' thing go are you Erimus? It was only a joke mate. I didn't really mean it.
 
If BL wants to post made up stuff, that's fine by me. And I agree he is in the main harmless enough.

But let's not pretend he's entirely innocent here. I've seen him make numerous little snipes or put downs at other posters who aren't pretending to be ITK but post rumours they've heard/read from elsewhere. If you're going to do that, even if it's just for "banter" you can't moan when people bite back.
