Mejias news - anybody understand Romanian?

'EXCLUSIVE Dinamo has found the goalkeeper dreamed of by Contra! He trained at Real Madrid's academy and comes from the "nightmare" of the rival FCSB.
Dinamo offered Tomas Mejias Osorio (31 years old), a goalkeeper under contract with Middlesbrough, second division in England.

Cosmin Contra said the other day that he needs another experienced goalkeeper to compete with Cătălin Straton (30 years old). According to Gazeta, the "dogs" officials moved quickly and started talks to bring a new Spaniard, goalkeeper Tomas Mejias Osorio.

Dinamo has offered him a contract valid for two seasons and hopes to bring him in as a free agent.'

I assume the 'the "nightmare" of the rival FCSB.' means Boro :)

He needs to go. 3rd choice keepers should always be young and up and coming, not players of an age where they will not improve.

Random articles of the world😂

Agree that a 31yr old shouldn't be 3rd choice. He's never going to challange for No2 never mind No1.

He's stole a living in his 3-4 years with us (did ok beating City and UTD in cups👍)

If Dimi had started in goal at the start of 14/15 I'm sure we'd have got promoted. Mejias cost us several games that he played in
I wish him all the best though

'Dinamo fans would quickly adopt Tomas Mejias, especially since he comes from Middlesbrough, a team that the "dogs" thank on every occasion. The English eliminated FCSB in the semifinals of the 2005/2006 UEFA Cup.

Becali's team had won the round match, score 1-0, but was defeated dramatically returned to England, score 4-2, with a goal scored in the last minute by Massimo Maccarone. '

I thought the point of him coming back to us was the help bring on the younger keepers, and as a good back up. Part of the 'golden thread' strategy - the one after 'team full of locals' which itself came after 'smash the league'

Lets face it, we've had more bad strategies than a game of Risk

I’m afraid I only know please, thank you, and merry Christmas and a happy new year in Romanian. Probably not enough to translate an article.
