You simply must make time to book and see MdZ Estate by KLF's Jimmy Cauty
You step into an industrial container and walk around a post apocalyptic tower block estate, the sounds, sights and debris from a disaster all around you. Peer into the devastated flats and see tv's flickering with newscasts or view the artefacts of a new pagan lifestyle for the survivors - reminds me a bit of JG Ballard's dystopian horror High Rise brought to 3D form.
Part of Discover Middlesbrough - showing in an industrial container at The Auxiliary, situated in Station Street, opposite Zetland multi storey car park - you must book to visit as numbers in the container are strictly managed.
