Sounds like good news on the injury front.
Hopefully he's OK, so vital to our teamWith Saville of course.
Wonder if this means injury isn’t as bad as first hoped. Be great if he’s ok for Saturday but wouldn’t be taking any risks.
He would have ruled himself out if it was still a problem.Hopefully.
I agree. I wouldn’t say it’s set in stone it’s good news although I hope it is. Seen it plenty of times where injured players are called up and withdrawHe was injured on Tuesday, it's only Thursday morning, they don't play till next Thursday.
They may not have discovered the extent of the injury yet, and he could withdraw before they play.
Hopefully he's fine though.
I'd leave him out for Tav. I thought he was poor the other night. If he’s fine for Saturday it’s a tough team to pick as Tav was so good when he came on.

Tav came on for Morsy, can just drop Morsy.
I've liked Morsy lately but he's annoyed me with those off the ball antics.
If McNair's not fit then the problem solves it self.
First half, when we were being dominated, the game was bypassing him and we were being stretched. Can’t agree with him being poor, his powerful run for the goal was brilliant. He was also outstanding the game before. Tav is brilliant though and he needs to be in the side too. Decisions, decisions.

The run for the goal was good and he came into his own before the end but they were stretched and tired by then.
As an attacking midfielder I think Tav offers more. As a defensive midfielder Morsy offers more. McNair's best performances for us have come when he's been part of a back three.
I haven't seen an awful lot of McNair in midfield for a while. That was the first time I'd seen him there for a long time. But would you say McNair is better than Morsy as an 8. Howson sitting, Tav and McNair looks a great midfield in my eyes. I think we actually have good options in there now with Saville and Morsy too. Hall and Fry are doing fine at the back. In my opinion you would always find a place for McNair and Tav so Morsy or Howson to lose there place for me but I reckon it will be Morsy.
I know what you mean, but it depends on the game, some games Morsy is a good fit at breaking up the opposition.Tav came on for Morsy, can just drop Morsy.
