McLusky at Pop Recs Sunderland Thursday 3rd Aug

Just a question about the venue really. I know McLusky will be great as always and some new tunes promised.

Never been to Pop Recs and not really heard of it until this year. Is it a decent venue and is the acoustics ok.

Looking forward to this one. Support comes from Fashion Tips and Onlooker who I believe are from Teesside but not sure whether I have seen them before.

Pop Recs is decent yeah. Seem to pull a decent crowd in there usually.
 
if you know the Georgian Theatre in Stockton, Pop Recs has a very similar feel to that, before they did the big refurb anyway. Really nice venue, and ran by good people
 
There's a photography exhibition on in the venue which I've co-curated (the other half of the exhibition is in the cafe, which won't be open for the gig) 2 photographers: one from Boro and one from Germany. Summat to look at before the band comes on. It's a great venue run by lovely people.
