McGree and Silvera

I don't think either are fantastic players but one is a fairly consistent performer at our level, the other is hit and miss but with bags of potential

If Rogers was a fantastic player he wouldn't have been offloaded by City for buttons.
I meant at this level. McGree is a top quality operator and we are lucky to have him. A class act, who for different reasons hasn’t had chance to properly get going this season. Can’t wait until he’s back.

Rogers has without doubt fantastic potential Hence why a top premier league club have made 2 bids for him 6 months into his time here.

They both are a joy to watch in my opinion and I’d like them both to play for us.

I’d rather have Rogers than McGree because I think he is already a better player, has more potential and higher value.
I too would ideally like to keep both.
The crucial thing is what would we do to improve the team if we sold either of them.
I’d swap either for Diallo or Ramsey, but accept that is my opinion, not fact.

I'd rather have them both playing at them same time.

I think, if we don't get promoted, the plan was to sell McGree this summer or winter but his injury and the Rogers interest complicates things. McGree made it plain that he joined us to get to the Premier league.

If everyone is back and fit, it's not clear what our best forward line is. Rogers, McGree, Azaz and Jones look like the main options. Greenwood looks to be falling down the pecking order. Forss may move back to centre forward.

Silvera is not bad off the bench as a back-up. I don't think he's at the same level as the others but he's as close to an orthodox winger as we have after Jones. Crooks is a great option on the bench.

To be fair, that looks like a really tasty attacking line-up. Not the best in the league but definitely good enough for a play-off push.

It's nice to have ambition but I don't think he is good enough. I think his only real chance of playing PL football is if we get promoted. II can't see us selling unless it was for £10m+ and I can't see a PL team paying that for him. He's a decent championship player but I think that's his level.

I would disagree, IMO, I think Riley is an excellent footballer who could definitely play in the Premier league, his movement and ability is there for all to see and with better players would only improve too.

There are lots of average players cutting it in the prem at the minute and Riley would offer most teams an option just like Tav has at Bournemouth, he could go to Bournemouth, Brighton, Fulham etc and be a real asset

I think Tavernier is a significantly better player than McGree.
He was better here before we sold him and he has improved at Bournemouth and is an established PL player.
McGree is a decent Championship player. I personally don't think he will make a PL player.
But like you of course, I could be wrong.
