I said they had 2 bad games in September - feel free to regurgitate any threads I've made criticising a player's performance.
Maybe I'll feel free to do the same again
 
Can you imagine if some posters on here were as judgemental at work and in their personal lives. I suspect they'd all be unemployed virgins :geek:
 
Too many fans are too quick to jump on players backs, based on a couple of half baked performances. He didn’t deserve to be slated, he’s a good player who wants to be here at Boro. Someone we should embrace and appreciate exactly what he brings to the team.
 
If we need to push on this year either Crooks, Hackney or Howson should be replaced but it's difft as all have played well. Cloughie/Taylor always said you should improve the team when you are playing well

McGree scored a terrific goal, scored a terrific goal at Norwich too.
I still don’t believe he’s a very good player.
I thought he had a shocking first half and was unremarkable second half (goal aside).
I don’t think we played well tonight either, but will ecstatically take away wins like that and goals like that all season.
 
Digging up of posts like this is bad craic, without exception everyone got caught up with Warnock taking us over then Wilder, now Carrick. They were all at the begging the best thing sliced bread then when things went south ( not Carrick yet) they became as popular as a dog turd in your bathwater, and the players come in for the same treatment. Move on from gloating over other Boro fans save it for the oppo and match days.

It’s not bad craic at all.. everyone has an opinion and just like in a pub or at the game if you big up or slag off a player.. someone is going to pull you up on it or pat you on the back whichever way it goes.
 
McGree and Crooks are both certainly playing well at the moment
I can't speak for others criticising 2 performances from 3 plus months ago - and the purpose it's being done is not for amicable reasons - but I'd be happy for this to be hoofed again and again if it means Boro keep winning
So.....let's hope this is at the top of the board after the next match
 
This forum when we are winning in runs like this after genuine bad patches ( and wilders last days were) becomes a bit insufferable, too many posters forgot their own negativity and hunt the ones which didn't match their own, just crack on and enjoy the winning rather stinking out the forum at digs at other posters. Everybody on this forum who was a genuine Boro fan had something to say a few months ago, and it didn't make for pretty reading but so what that is the Bipolar nature of being a football supporter.

Opinions.. we all have them. If I was ever wrong about anything ever and it popped back up.. I’d find it funny!

Its not the people saying he's had a couple of bad games, it's the posters completely writing him off saying "he is ****, he is a terrible footballer".
All done with the conceited certainty of a seasoned expert. But actually proving the opposite.
 
The effort some must go to find an old thread so they can laugh about something someone posted.

I mean you'd probably find 100s about Akpom being sh*t or sell Fry.

Hopefully nobody reads what I wrote when we signed Watmore. 'none scoring perma crock' etc 😂. We can all be wrong and football can change in a month.
