There's a lot of things Carrick got wrong so could be anything. His post match interviews are a non event really. Just takes all blame on the chin without really pin pointing what he thinks went wrong. Never criticises the players under any circumstances.
 
I think today was as close as he’s ever been to criticising them to be honest. As soon as the interviewer mentioned last week he brushed it off and said it’s about consistency. He’s taking responsibility but he will be absolutely fuming at some of those performances today.

Definitely. I actually thought he was going to co.e out with something at one point but he quickly checked himself and remained cool.

He knows that was pathetic today. He's not daft
 
I think he was talking about the starting line-up rather than the subs. Probably wished he's kept the same formation as against Leicester. We were all over the place back in our usual lineup. And probably thinks he should have played Engel at LB.
