Out of those three, only Hackney is likely to get a move to a PL club.

Even then, he's had a very inconsistent season due to injuries

I'd initially file these in the same drawer as Pogatetz's 'come and get me plea' stories when we sleep-walked our way to relegation from the Premier League, but an in form Hackney would be someone I can't see us replacing at a reasonable price if he were to go.

We already need some quality additions if we are to have any chance of making a serious promotion push next season. If we were to lose some of the better players we currently have then we are into major overhaul/rebuild in the Summer AGAIN. Recent experience tells us that you can't just integrate a whole bunch of new players and expect it all to gel instantly. This does not bode well for next season at all. Seems like we take one step forwards and then two steps back.

I reckon it's bollox as well. Wouldn't make sense to put a formal request in at this moment in time. Like someone else said a player wanting to leave at the end of the season would just have an agent putting the feelers out at the moment.

Forss, McGree and Hackney Out of those I'd be most disappointed at Forss. I think he's a real asset.

Forss I could imagine being peeved as he knows where the net is but personally don’t get the praise for McGree. Yes he can be good on his day but that only seems to be when he feels like it. I get the impression from his demeanour that McGree is his own biggest fan.

He wanted to go to the Bundesliga in the summer but Boro rejected the offer. He’s got 12 months left on his contract after this season, we’ll cash in.

I like McGree but I don’t think his heart’s in it.
