I think I wanted Nigel Pearson..
 
I doubt it’s even on the cards for him to manage long term but it would be good to see him get a few games and let it continue if we’re on good form for a bit
 
Managers are less important than the standard of the first 11 players.

This group of players will not be near the promotion spots even if we had Pep here.

Get a manager in by all means but we have to learn to find players.
 
The man who puts out cones isn’t the answer to our managerial needs. Very passionate guy but not a manager. Does he have the FIFA badges?

Just because Wilder threw his toys out of the pram when he didn’t get his dream move to Burnley doesn’t mean we just chuck this very capable squad in the bin. It’s gonna be a mammoth task.. but it’s not out of the question. The next round of recruitment is gonna be even harder! Less money for better players.. free transfers, clever use of the loan system and picking up lower league/SPL gems. Tough!
