It wasn't for the incident itself but he swore over the intercom after it. And the reporter was after an apology for the swearing. He wouldn't play ball.

Verstappen's inability to control his emotions on and off the track will be the reason he never fulfils his true potential. His DNF rate is shocking, plus he keeps getting into positions he doesn't need to. Brazil 2018 a case in point.
