Bought this album a while ago now and only just got round to listening to it. I find I need to have the time to make sure I can listen to the whole piece with something like this.

It has to be one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard. The concept behind the album sounds a little pretentious. A series of voices read out passages from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights read in multiple languages played over by an "orchestra" unlike any other (mostly strings) but also including electronic instruments, a choir and a solo soprano.

Anyone else like his stuff?

Have to agree. Downloaded it ages ago and often listen to it. Incredibly moving. If Im not mistaken it’s Eleanor Roosevelt voicing the UDHR at the beginning of the piece and the way it morphs into the younger American female is sublime. Not listened to any of his other stuff but intend to.

His music based on patterns & rhythms of sleep is sublime, there’s a short version and a full one. It was played live and the audience were invited to lay on little beds and to drift off as they listened, gorgeous
