The De Jong contract in particular is crazy, they convinced him to sign with his wages spread out over his contract with more being paid towards the end of it. Now is his pay is meant to increase they are doing everything they can to get rid of him, since he won’t leave they are now trying to take him to court to get that contest deemed illegal.
They are a truly awful club, they are trying every trick in the financial playbook to try and bend the rules.
 
I agree he has every right to fleece anyone daft enough to give him a contract, just like we did…

but, no one can say I’m wrong in saying he steals a living from the fans he is supposed to represent…
