Martin Braithwaite

To be fair Pulis might not have realised what he had going on in the background etc.

Not even sure if Braithwaite's investments had come good by then. Maybe that's why he left us? Thought he could chance a move elsewhere as he was already going to be loaded no matter what.
Think it had more to do with him playing in second tier football league whilst fighting for his international place. Pulis won’t have helped. He will have done his research on him no doubt.
It’s hardly being his PR spin doctor, he isn’t Lionel Messi and was never expected to be. He’s not a £30m wonderbuy but if someone buys him for £10m they can expect a decent player for a few years as he is starting to get on, with experience at international level, champions league etc He isn’t really at Barcelona’s level but how many players would be?implying he is rubbish is just laughable though as he has played at several teams, scores goals domestically and internationally and yet somehow he’s pulling the wool over everyone’s eyes but boro fans?

I've not said he's rubbish, quite the opposite, look at my two previous posts.

He doesn’t have to be a “household” name but he is a big name. He’s also loaded amd has property investments worth just under £200m.

he plays for one of the biggest clubs in the world regardless of your opinion of his ability, gets paid £85k a week and played for his National team in the euros and aljisnt certainly going to be playing for them in the World Cup, and now wanted by premier league teams.

You can’t have all that and not be a big name - papers are writing stories about him. And they don’t do that about nobodies

it’s only boro fans that hate him
I disagree, he did well at toulouse, rubbish at boro, good at leganes and poor again for Barcelona, he will struggle in the Premier league IMO, fair enough he plays most of the time for Denmark but he isn't a big name. If barca didn't sign him he wouldn't get any sort of publicity he's getting now. I wish him well but he's punching well above his weight currently.

Yep nobody else is aware of him.

Good player who has made a very good career for himself, playing for his country in the semis of an international tournament and joining some of the biggest clubs in the world, and Barca ;)

Writing was always on the wall when Pulis came in...technical, likes it on the floor with other technically gifted players to play off....was never going to end well.

He's a player hwo has the intelligence and workrate to optimise his bang average talent. He clearly didn't really fancy the Boro - even without the charisma black hole that was Pulis in charge - and he wouldn't be the first. I was much more gutted about Bamford being sold. He is genuine class (as he's nowadays proving).

Braithwaite's wages pushed Barca over their spending limit and so they had to reduce Messi's wage, is he the man to replace Messi?

Not with 3 goals in 40….
12 Pint John, no. 9 for the Rose and Crown would better that tally if he played for Barca.
