Marten De Roon starts for Holland

He was clearly not suited to the role we gave him, but he did his best to do the job. You could see the quality he had. He just didn’t have the flair players around him to give the ball to once he had won it back. I think Negredo did his best too, but any striker would have become frustrated with the way we used him in that team. He was often the only man in the opposition half, feeding off long balls and poor service.
 
Decent for us, seemed a good signing at the time, though can't forget his rush of blood to the head at Leicester away which cost us a win🙄
 
Clearly a good player who has had a good career so far. Doesn’t mean he did well here in his one season, I’ve no doubt that was the low point of it. Was happy to get our money back because, like most players that season, he didn’t deliver.
