Mark Crossley - story about Brian Clough & David Currie.

When Cloughie was manager of 'Pool I once got in a 'behind closed doors' game v Stan Anderson's Boro at Hutton Road training ground. I was stood on the touchline near Cloughie and tho I was used to swearing I'd never heard anyone swear so much in my life and stll haven't to this day

It's the "what's your name son?" that gets me.

Such a straightforward way of asserting your authority on a situation. Might try it at work :ROFLMAO:

been working with dave currie this week, hes a nice man to to talk to.
hes been telling us some good stories aswell, i said to me mate we wont mention the carlisle miss., but we did and i showed him the photo of it.
and he told us that i never realised carlisle went straight down the other end and scored
Did he confirm this story from Norman Crossley. I liked Currie, one of my favourite players (after Heine ofcourse) in those dark days and was genuinely disappointed when we let him go to Darlo.....he was capable of the sublime (goal v Newcastle) and ridiculous (miss v Carlisle)
